I would like to thank everyone for their support of the United Poker League and Big Slick’s Bar & Grill. We have tried hard, through our aggressive monthly prize package, to kindle a competitive spirit and to attract the best poker players in central Arkansas. By the time we send our contingency of players to the WSOP Circuit Event in Tunica, MS. in January we will have given almost $18,000 in cash and prizes to our league players over the last year. I implore you to try and find a league anywhere that can match this! Unfortunately, big prize pools don’t grow on trees. So, as a token of our appreciation to those of you who support the league and Big Slick’s Bar & Grill monetarily we are excited to offer you Bonus Chips when you play with the UPL. It’s very simple; here is how it works:

• When you purchase $5.00 worth of food or beverage you will receive $2000 worth of bonus chips to use during the next regular tournament and the next SnG tournament (if applicable). For example, if you come in and order 2 beers @ $2.50 each you will receive $2000 in bonus chips for the next tournament. If you play in the next SnG tournament you will receive bonus chips for that tournament as well.

• If you purchase an additional $5.00 worth of food or beverage ($10.00 total) you will get bonus chips for the second and third games (if applicable).

• When you make your purchase, simply ask your server or bartender for a bonus chip voucher. Turn this in at the start of the tournament to receive your bonus chips.

• Bonus chips will always be 2/3 of the starting stack amount. For example if we start with $3000 tournament chips the bonus amount will be $2000. If we start double stacked with $6000, the bonus chip amount will be $4000.

• Purchase credit will be applied to the person who consumes the product and cannot be transferred. For example, Joe Pokerpro comes and purchases $15.00 worth of food and beverage for he and one friend. They each consume equal amounts of the product. He and his friend are eligible for the bonus chips with a total purchase credit of $7.50 each. Now lets say that a third friend comes in right before the blinds go up. Joe may not transfer any of his credits to his friend because he was not the consumer of the products.

• The qualifying purchase (or a commitment to purchase) must be made prior to the first blind level increase. The Game is frozen and no bonus chips will be awarded after the blind have gone up. We will be flexible, for example, you plan on enjoying one of our famous Big Slick Burgers but you had a big lunch and are not hungry yet. If you place your order and commit to buy before the blinds go up you will receive your bonus chips and you can enjoy your burger at your leisure, just let us know when to make it.

• No re-buys will be allowed. If you elect not to participate in the bonus chip program and are knocked out of the tournament you may not then elect to participate and receive bonus chips. Once your out, your out.

• No bonus chips will be awarded for any special tournament, i.e. Cross town rivalry, Monthly Championship, or Invitational Tournament

• Purchase credits may be used on the same day of purchase only. For example, you have purchased $20.00 worth of food or beverage. You will receive bonus chips for all tournaments and sit-and-goes for this day. You may not apply any purchase credits to any subsequent days or visits.

• It is still free to join and play with the UPL. You will receive the same starting amount of chips with no additional purchase necessary! 

It is truly our passion and dream to attract the best poker players, give the largest prize pools, kindle a competitive spirit and have the strongest poker league in Arkansas.
